John Bird heads up the JBRL Ltd team with over 11 years experience in the industry. He started as an estate agent with one of the larger companies in London as a letting negotiator and swiftly developed a talent for matching the requirements of his clients to their ideal property.
John comes with a wealth of experience as well as qualifications awarded by the National Federation of Property Professionals for residential property sales, letting and management. After several very successful years working for 2 of the largest companies in the region John decided that it was time to open JBRL Ltd as so he could implement the small but yet vital changes he noticed were required to ensure customer satisfaction every time.
Over the past 4 years John has taken the company from a cold start online based business to a growing reputable company with a high street office positioned in a key location of South East London. He regards one of his main achievements as being able to create customers and service their needs so well that they continue to use and recommend JBRL.
Teresa Bird has over 25 years experience as a senior manager in the industry and has worked alongside John since the start of JBRL and before for one of the larger corporate agencies in the area.
Teresa has extensive knowledge with regards to the sale of residential property and is often described as a breath of fresh air by the vendors and buyers she helps in her day to day activities. Buyers often give praise and gratitude for the service Teresa provides and she is also known for holding a chain of property sales together.
Amy Miles started with JBRL in June 2014 and has quickly advanced her career and professional development as an estate agent by undertaking extensive training and industry learning courses. Amy deals with the viewings, administration and day to day task in the office alongside John and Teresa.
Amy is very customer focused, and receives a lot of praise from tenants as well as buyers on how she looks after them and for someone who is new to the industry offers a good wealth of knowledge.
Sarah-Jane Deakin is the company administrator. A qualified legal secretary, she joined JBRL in June 2016.
Her role is primarily to ensure the smooth running of the office. Her principle duties include but are not limited to: overseeing the development of the database; organisation of property photos, floorplans and EPCs; preparing window cards and property brochures; website administration and general day to day office assistance.
Lorena Bird heads up the marketing team and has extensive experience with advertising and a keen eye for design when it comes to creating the perfect advertising package for our vendors and landlords properties.
Lorena takes care of the floor plans, photos and property particulars that buyers have described as the most informative and well thought out property details they receive on their viewings. Lorena carefully designs each individual advert for each property as so they look different from the run of the mill estate agents property details.
Steve Hickling heads up the inventory company JBRL Ltd use (smart inventory services). Steve and his clerks have a wealth of experience. Steve is a full member of the AIIC Association of independent inventory clerks, this means that landlords can feel confident knowing the reports compiled from initial inventory and check-in to check-out are a fair representation of the condition of your property from the time the tenant takes occupation to the time possession is recovered.
John Bird refers to Steve as “the best inventory clerk in the business, the reports produced are so good that they have won awards at the AIIC Inventory Clerk Of The Year”.
